Our Shariah governance approach is being designed to support rigorous oversight, informed review, and disciplined decision-making across the investment lifecycle. We intend to align our internal framework with the standards expected of an Islamic fund manager in Malaysia which include rigorous research and with strong Shariah advisor oversight.

IBCA's investment philosophy is anchored in long-term value creation through disciplined Shariah-compliant investing. The Company emphasises fundamental analysis, capital preservation, and risk-adjusted returns consistent with each client's mandate and risk profile.
The core tenets are:
- (a) Shariah primacy — every investment shall comply with Shariah principles as endorsed by the Shariah Adviser and the Shariah Advisory Council of the Securities Commission Malaysia;
- (b) Long-term horizon — investment theses are constructed for multi-year holding periods, with tactical adjustments where mandate-permitted;
- (c) Fundamental analysis — investment decisions are anchored in fundamental analysis of the underlying business, sector positioning, and valuation;
